Template 9 in russian

Hi!
I try to customize main menu in russian.
Set up charset=windows-1251 in button.xml and index.htm but have empty buttons (see attach). How can I fix this?

Can you try to edit button.xml and change :
<item_font>default</item_font>
by
<item_font>Arial</item_font>
?

I looked through button.xml as you adviced and noticed that button.xml saved as UTF-8 file.

Just save files button.xml and index.html as windows-1251 file.
And set <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1251"> in button.xml and index.html.
