Visual studio and free web templates

I am using a CSS Templates with microsoft visual studio 2008.When I am going to install in visual studio 2008 some problem occured and it gives an error.this problem is the template problem or a problem in visual studio?
Can I modify the templates?

Hello,
Yes the problem probably come from your editor. WYSIWYG editors often add bad code, i suggest you to use notepad or simple text editors.
