Hi,
In my opinion, Front page is not a good WYSIWYG editor. It causes a lot of problems. The best way to edit templates is to add your HTML with an editor like note pad.
If you absolutely want to use Front page Just design some parts of your pages with frontpage and copy and paste the HTML code into your pages with notepad.
