[SOLVED] help needed with flash banner

Hi all,

I'm a bit of a newbie at all this so sorry if this is a stupid question!

I have the banner all up and running the only problem is i can't get it to fit the width of my webpage.

I have tried making the image wider but this only helps a little.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Hi,
To change banner width en height, just replace bold values in you HTML page:
swfobject.embedSWF("flash/header.swf", "free-flash-header","540", "150"....Here the banner widht is 540, and the banner height is 150.

Thanks for your reply, however it doesn't work.
My banner does move but the width of the actual banner doesn't get bigger.

Any other ideas?

It should work, but you've got problems in your HTML page (several <head> and <body> tags...). You should first clean your code and remove banner code. Download the banner again and put the right code at the right place as it's shown in example of the zip archive : some code has to be insert between the <head> </head> tags and some code must be between the <body> </body> tags.

I've gone back to the original and edited the Width (540) and it's not working, changing the 150 does change the hight though ??

Hi,
Here is an attached file with no problems. We change the height of the banner and it works.
swfobject.embedSWF("flash/header.swf", "free-flash-header","800", "250",...
Perhaps you the banner width has no effect because your images have a smaller width than 800px.

Is it fine now ?
