Default favicon?

Hi all,
I'm using template nine and would like to add a favicon. It does not seem to work when I add <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico"
type="image/x-icon" /> to the head section, just above <!--begin of terms...

The favicon.ico file is in the main folder next to the index page on the server.

Thanks

Mike

Default favicon on flash templates

Hi Mike,
I use Firefox, and your favicon (black M with a green background appear).
You have a look at the screen shoot i've made attached with this post.

The same here. Using the Firefox I can see it everywhere and when using IE, I can see it when I add your page to the favorites.

PS1: Your web is loading a bit long. Is it server/traffic matter or do you have very low compresson on the images?

PS2: It would be nice, if you can write the short guide to the "Tips and tricks" thread, how to add the favicon.

Hello all
Thanks for that. I do not see the favicon myself but that must be an IE issue!
I am not sure why the website loads so slowly. What compression for the photo's should I aim for? especially on main pages where speed is most important.
Thanks again for the help

Mike
